1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using arkansaslegalnow.com (the "Site") or any services offered by YourLawCoach, LC (doing business as ArkansasLegalNow) ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. Not a Law Firm — No Legal Advice
ArkansasLegalNow is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice, legal representation, or legal services. Nothing on this Site constitutes legal advice or creates an attorney-client relationship. The guides, forms, and tools we provide are for informational and self-help purposes only.
If you have specific legal questions or your matter is complex, we encourage you to consult a licensed Arkansas attorney.
3. Our Services
We provide self-help legal document preparation services, including court-ready forms and step-by-step guides for common legal matters in Arkansas, such as estate planning, probate, divorce, custody modification, paternity, and guardianship.
Our services are designed to assist individuals who choose to represent themselves ("pro se") in Arkansas courts. We do not represent you before any court, agency, or other party.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use our services. By using the Site, you represent that you meet these requirements.
5. Payments and Refunds
Document preparation packages are available for a one-time fee. You will not be charged until your document is complete and ready for download.
All sales are final. Because our services involve the preparation of customized legal documents, we do not offer refunds once your completed document has been delivered to you. If you experience a technical issue that prevented you from receiving your document, please contact us at hello@arkansaslegalnow.com.
6. Your Responsibilities
By using our services, you agree to: (a) provide accurate, complete, and truthful information when completing our forms and questionnaires; (b) review all completed documents before filing them with any court or government agency; (c) understand that you are responsible for filing your own documents and complying with applicable court procedures and deadlines; and (d) not use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including guides, templates, text, graphics, and software — is owned by YourLawCoach, LC and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may use our materials solely for your own personal, non-commercial legal matters. Reproduction, resale, or redistribution of our content is prohibited without our prior written consent.
8. Disclaimers
THE SITE AND ALL SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT OUR FORMS WILL BE ACCEPTED BY ANY PARTICULAR COURT OR PRODUCE ANY PARTICULAR LEGAL OUTCOME. LAWS AND COURT PROCEDURES CHANGE, AND IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO VERIFY THAT ANY DOCUMENT YOU FILE COMPLIES WITH CURRENT REQUIREMENTS.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOURLAWCOACH, LC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR OUR SERVICES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST LEGAL RIGHTS, COURT JUDGMENTS, OR MISSED DEADLINES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SPECIFIC SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
10. Dispute Resolution — Binding Arbitration
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING YOUR RIGHT TO FILE A LAWSUIT IN COURT.
10.1 Agreement to Arbitrate. You and ArkansasLegalNow agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site or our services — including any question about its existence, validity, or scope — will be resolved exclusively through final and binding arbitration, rather than in court.
10.2 Arbitration Process. Arbitration will be conducted by a single neutral arbitrator mutually agreed upon by the parties. The arbitration will take place in Pulaski County, Arkansas, or by telephone or video conference if mutually agreed. The arbitrator's decision will be final and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.
10.3 No Class Actions. All claims must be brought in your individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims and may not preside over any form of class or representative proceeding.
10.4 Small Claims Exception. Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court in Pulaski County, Arkansas, if the claim qualifies under that court's jurisdictional limits.
10.5 Opt-Out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to hello@arkansaslegalnow.com within 30 days of first using our services. Your notice must include your name, address, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out of arbitration.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, without regard to its conflict of law principles. To the extent any dispute is not subject to arbitration, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Pulaski County, Arkansas.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised Terms on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
